Legal Requirements
Asbestos fencing is a hazardous material and its removal needs to be carried out by trained and experienced operators who are licensed with Work Safe.
Occupational Safety and Health Regulations require operators to have a "Restricted Asbestos License" if removing more than10 square metres of bonded asbestos.
This has been in affect since the 1st March 2010
We require all our contractors who remove asbestos undertake a "Restricted Asbestos License Training Course."
