Wrapping Asbestos

Asbestos fencing must be wrapped before being transported or disposed of.

• All asbestos that is to be transported must be wrapped in black builders plastic no thinner than 0.2mm.

• When wrapping asbestos fencing sheets we wrap the bundles the same way you wrap a present. The only difference is

• That all joins are taped securely closed with PVC tape.

• All corners are double wrapped with PVC tape to prevent the corner of the asbestos sheets breaking through the plastic.

• Where rope or tie down straps touch the plastic we use extra tape.
